Dieng Plateau, Like a Fairy Tale

The desire to pamper the eyes to see the beauty of nature more unbearable, as I write that previously had lately a desire for adventure is at large extent. After previously looking for places as a target hits, finally first choice falls in Wonosobo-Banjarnegara, natural attractions in Dieng Plateau. Plan just wanted to go there, but since there are still many events, my husband and I could only leave on November 9, 2013.
We planned to leave Saturday afternoon (after I got off work) and plans to look for lodging near Dieng, hoping to enjoy the sunrise on Sunday morning. Before leaving I had prepared touring gear, including clothing and make-up (as a girl so you know), jacket, scarf (because there really cold), gloves + socks, personalized medicine, flashlights, mountain sandals, HP charger, camera, wallet + money, Book of Marriage, identity cards, drinks and snacks. Finally, at about 13:20 pm, my husband had to pick me up at the office and we're ready to go riding Scorpy and ready to go on two wheels in the middle of the blazing sun stinging ... heheee.
We chose the path of Boyolali pass Ampel heading to Salatiga to reach the Ring Road junction , while looking at the board of directions, we continue to accelerate the motorcycle , then we take the path towards Ambarawa pass Banyubiru up at the intersection of four heading towards Yogyakarta , Semarang and Magelang . We also take the path toward Magelang . Arriving in Magelang , it was already around 15:00 pm, traffic is dense enough to creep and very jammed . We then chose an alternative path towards Temanggung, this journey we take to break first Sholat Ashar while at one mosque alongside a road . It is estimated to Temanggung , we have to travel about 40 minutes longer . My ass feels like you've finished sauce , spicy and hot , especially I still carry a pretty heavy rucksack bag , , , hehehe .. but still fun and do not regret it if you have exhausted . After arriving in Termanggung, we followed the directions to Wonosobo ( I think there are alternative pathways sich of Temanggung directly to Dieng )
The journey to Wonosobo, we are past the point where the right and left full of natural scenery of Mount Sindoro and cleft, in addition to the right side of the road .. a lot of agricultural land planted with vegetables generally, we also continue to follow the directions the board, until we arrived at the town of Wonosobo, turns into Wonosobo we have to go around town first track since it was made one-way, from Wobosobo we continue to climb toward the Dieng plateau. I think the distance is not too far away, but it turns out we have to menempuk approximately 12 km more to reach Dieng (but it's more than that). Along the way, we saw farmland planted with potatoes and tree Carica, Papaya is a kind of fruit tree, but the fruit into small pieces and is a typical vegetation in the Dieng area, so there is famous for sweets Carica.
At about 17.15pm , I have also seen archway Welcome Dieng is often the object of the travelers photos , we still continue to follow the road uphill winding turns in an increasingly cold conditions , and finally we arrived at the junction towards the object Dieng Tourism . We chose the bend to the left and look for lodging, but still confused to choose which one, we kept circling the area, and found objects Colour Lake , Arjuna temple complex , Sikidang Crater , and Dieng Plateau , but I want to find the location of the famous Hill Sikunir sunrise , but it turns out we have not found , we finally decided to look for a homestay . Huft , because the weekend , homestay is full of all , most of which came in the group so booking ahead , fortunately finally can stay empty as well despite some group of college kids who stopped there . Just info , Dieng Plateau is divided into two regions of Wonosobo and Banjarnegara district , to the location of the crater Sikidang and Candi Arjuna ( including my homestay ) entered Banjarnegara region , whereas for Colour Lake and Hill Sikunir entered in Wonosobo .
Typical food Dieng, Candied Carica and Mie Ongklok
Well , After receiving room , we were immediately Prayer and find food , because very cold air and water as well as snow melt , my husband and I decided not to shower , haha . Because the food is not provided at the homestay , we were out looking for food , only about seven o'clock , but the atmosphere was quiet and dark , then I pick Eating providing the same rice noodles Ongklok , noodles Typical Dieng , he said if you do not eat noodles Ongklok , incomplete , , I finally tried it , one serving of noodles turned out to be paired with goat satay , my comments are .. " quite disappointing " , either I was wrong or did I select stalls that do not like the menu , Mie Ongklok it feels weird on my tongue with a thick sauce savory - sweet while the satay tasted sour , even my husband told me not to be afraid to eat when it's stale . finished our meal was then paid , total about Rp . 50,000 , Price for standard noodles Ongkloknya still around Rp . 8000 , - . While satenya Rp.2000 / puncture . Finished dinner , we went back to the homestay , about nine in the evening I 've prepared myself to sleep , in addition to the cold tired .. also makes me feel sleepy .
Sunrise at Hilltop Sikunir
Before going to bed, the owner of the homestay been advised that want clay Sunrise must leave at four in the morning, She was giving a homemade map as well as directions. Around three o'clock in the morning I was awake, happened at a time when the Inter Milan match, because I could not sleep anymore, I also chose awake while browsing (internet network remains smooth oiiiii ............ Sippp dach). At half-past four, the owner of the homestay had our wake-us to get ready, Brrrr ... it's cold at all, at first my husband and I are planning to take a shower, but not so,, think we'll be coming home from Bukit Sikunir, after morning prayers, we were off. Jackets, Shirts hand, socks, scarves, Flashlight and do not forget to drink water we brought, but before I could put Salonpas to warm my ears ..
Journey to the Sikunir was begun , in addition to the course of the steep , winding twisty , dark and a lot of holes , the course climbs down and narrow .. hehe . A moment later , visible signage " Welcom to Sembungan Top Village_Desa in Java " first we have to pay a fee for Rp.4000 / person . Until diparkiran Hill Sikunir , wow ... it's been so many cars and motorcycles parked there . To go to Bukit Sikunir , we must pursue the path that is steep, rocky and slippery . From the parking lot to the peak of approximately 500-700 meters distance must we go through , this is very useful flashlight . Huft .. My legs feel really stiff , sometimes we have to break for regulating breath struggling a little bit sipping water , approximately less than 200 meters , my husband felt tired and chose a short break .. hehe , unfortunate that up in Sikunir could not finish at the top , I finally decided to ride alone ( feel like people are missing among the crowd of people who I do not recognize ) , hemmm .. with the intent and spirit , I also ended up above .. already like a sea of people , many are flocking really just wanted to see Sunrise . Because I own .. with very super confident , I asked for help a few people who were near me to get a picture of me ... wkwkkk ! ! ! I'm serious too confident when it ... , feel the sun had started brightly , I decided to go down and meet my koko flat section below the crest of the hill ....
Telaga Cebong

We then headed down to the  Cebong Lake, its scenery is very charming at all. Usually the lake is visited by those who love fishing, even some tent camp perched on the edge of the lake. Just take pictures, we continued our journey. Because we think is too time consuming if you have to go back and forth to the homestay, we decided just to the other attractions (meaning ... our style before showering).
Telaga Warna
Our goal is to get to the Warna Lake and Pangilon Lake, which are in one location, after parking, we walked into the lake by paying a levy of Rp, 2000 / person (cheap is not it?), And we do not have to walk far because the lake had been a few feet front door of the booth and we've immediately greeted lake color which does seem to have two different colors, seems clear and green, the scent is quite pungent sulfur around the lake color. Distinctive place in the lake that is the existence of a fallen tree and leads to the lake and let it alone so it seems exotic ...
Telaga Pangilon
The Warna Lake direction, we just walk straight toward Pangilon Lake , because when it was about half past eight, the atmosphere is still fairly quiet lake and still be free to express the self. Pangilon lake is not really clear water lake, just a murky brown water, but from a distance it appears like a glass prism mirror.
Not long ago , we were driving up to the next object , Sikidang Crater . This crater is located in Banjarnegara district and is the most famous crater , in addition to the most easily accessible , this crater is famous for the gas discharge holes are always moving in a wide area . Derives its name from this character as the locals see it move like a gazelle ( Kidang ) . To log in to the crater Sikidang we have to buy a ticket for Rp . 10,000 / person who was already includes admission to Arjuna temple complex . Towards the parking lot Sikidang Crater , the more pungent aroma of sulfur and very very uncomfortable .. many mothers peddling health mask , but we chose to use it as a slayer cover the mouth and nose . The road leading to the mouth of the crater is also not too far away , the flow around the crater and the dry land appear grayish white , in addition to any vegetation it also can not seem to live around the former land of the crater flow , so it looks like a barren wasteland .
Approaching the mouth of the crater increasingly pungent scent, the lip of the crater bounded by a wooden fence to prevent visitors closer to the mouth of the crater. Boiling water appears brown and white out of gas, visible near the crater Sikidang there is a sulfur processing plant. Not long ago we decided to come back to continue the journey, just know and get a keepsake photo is very satisfying for me .. ahahaaaa, and the last location we were headed was Arjuna Temple. There we do not have to pay the ticket again, just give the tickets from the crater was (fortunately guns I waste).
Komplek Candi Arjuna
To go to the temple complex, we had to walk about 300 meters. Arjuna temple complex consisting of several small temples, among Bima temple, Sembodro, Sri kandi, Setyaki, etc.. Something that is becoming typical in the temple it is, the entourage of dancers who dress up like reog, they did not fully dancing just being in front of Arjuna temple and serve the tourists who intend to take pictures with rate Rp. 5000, - / once image or Rp. 10,000, -/2x photos with his own camera. Because you've got Arjuna temple, unfortunately it seems that all guns come photograph, I was then photographed with the dancers who were all men, while my husband is quite satisfied with being just a photographer (huft.. Sometimes resentful, he really allergic to the camera .. hee). Being around around the temple, we went home and head back to the lodge for a shower and go home soon
Carica Fruit Tree
At approximately ten fifteen minutes we came out of the inn, and return to the path passes a copy to Waterford Plantation The Tambi. Arriving at the center of Waterford city, we stopped first at Padang Restaurant point because since the morning before breakfast, then headed to the souvenir shop just looking for typical super sweets Carica (just bought 2 bottles, @ Rp. 11.500, - ... turned out delicious and I want more).
Rekap Perjalanan
Last visit has been accomplished, and it's time to tighten the backpack to get back home to the town of Boyolali beloved, at around 12.45pm we still stop by to pray first and then we went back to the Salatiga take the route Banyubiru Ampel, and Boyolali city. At 14.20pm we've got home ... tired and feel hot at all ... Before going to break ... I chose to organize and separate dirty clothes first. Finally,,, arrived home safely ... and getting the Valencia MotoGP race awaits the final.

*See you again*
